NAAUC Structure
Our core business is to provide tertiary students living on residence the opportunity to have the best experience possible by enabling residents committees and student leadership to operate in a manner which reflects best practice.
As the diagram shows, although there may only be few office bearing NAAUC positions, we work to support Residents Committees who support the larger collegiate student body.

NAAUC operates on three levels; campus, state and national. On a campus level our policies, guidelines, recommendations and ideas are often taken onboard by residents committees and implemented but with their own unique local flavour.
A crucial part of the NAAUC structure are the State Co-Ordinators. They not only operate as an invaluable conduit of information between the national level and the campus level, but also facilitate their own organised events on behalf of NAAUC.
Nationally, NAAUC is made up of three tiers.
- The Executive who are elected at every conference and oversee the operation of all NAAUC activities;
- The Alumni who are experienced members of NAAUC who consult with the Executive to provide expertly delievered college information and workshops;
- The Life Members and Fellows who have been recognised as having made an outstanding contribution to NAAUC.
