The accounts and the books are of the most importance to this executive member. The Treasurer: - Is the individual who receives and handles all monies for the Association
- Must keep correct accounts and books of the Association's financial affairs, and keep these up to date. On a monthly basis, they should be in a state such that a professional audit could take place and an inspection from any member is welcomed
- Is the public Officer for the Association
- Must ensure that the books are audited by a Certified Chartered Accountant prior to the Changeover Conference
- Must allow all incorporation rules and regulations, including filing an annual return with the Centre for Victorian Corporate Affairs
- Must change over signatories, subsidiary account (eg. Annual conference accounts) and change over executive forms to the Victorian Corporate Affairs Office

The Secretary must be able to take concise notes and organise the information from both the conference and meetings including: - Keep minutes of all meetings, Annual General Meetings, any Special General Meetings, Executive Conference meetings and Telephone Conference meetings (Note: Attendance must be recorded)
- Organise committee Telephone Conferences and meetings at the discretion of the President
- Compile, complete, publish and post the Conference report from the Annual conference. This is to be posted to all members by the 1st of October
- As of 2004 the Secretary is now responsible for all publications in addition to the traditional role encompased by the position. This includes 4 editions of NAAUC Talk each year, detailed Annual Conference Report and publicity material.

The Conference Director(s) are in charge of the Annual Conference, and they are based at the conference venue. Their duties include: - Run a conference which generates a small profit for the organisation.
- Be responsible for the planning, organising and running of the Annual conference, in conjunction with their committee the 'Working Party'.
- Be responsible for the financial record keeping and budgeting for the conference
