Parliamentary Debating

The model debate gives delegates the opportunity to match their wits in an educational and slightly comical look at contentious college issues. Always one of the highlights of the week, possible venues for this year’s parliamentary debating are the NSW Legislative Assembly and the Great Hall of the University of Sydney.

From the moment you arrive at the Legislative Assembly in Parliament House, you will become an Honourable Member of the NAAUC Assembly. The Speaker of the House will introduce delegate members to parliamentary procedure and ensure it is followed all evening. Delegates are to dress in corporate attire.
