INTERNATIONAL HOUSE, University of Melbourne

NAAUC offers a conference for staff of residential communities, with the 'Heads and Residential Coordinators' (HRC) Conference running concurrently with the students’ National Conference. Each year our conference attracts delegates from across Australia with the aim to inspire and empower them to create positive change in their residential communities. HRC delegates are actively challenged and encouraged to learn from the students, discuss and reflect on key issues facing those living on campus.

Conference covers a wide range of topics, such as student well-being, diversity and media presence. Through the week, attendees are audience to inspirational guest speakers, interactive workshops and seminars, and panel discussions, involving professionals with a variety of expertise in fields relevant to the industry.

Overall, NAAUC is a great platform for bringing together leaders from all facets of Student Accommodation. Its format is very conducive to knowledge sharing and networking. Definitely one I am proud to have been a part of and would recommend to those wanting to give more to their residence’s community.
