“THE PEAK REPRESENTATIVE BODY FOR TERTIARY STUDENTS LIVING ON CAMPUS IN AUSTRALIA.”
The National Association of Australian University Colleges (NAAUC) is the premier representative body for tertiary students living on campus. With over 230 residences from every state and territory in Australia, NAAUC coordinates a national communication network. Our membership base consists of over 100,000 students living on campus around the country, including all of the Group of Eight Universities in Australia.
Founded in 1968, NAAUC represents students living on campus nationwide and their communities. Our aim is to provide the best support, services and education for these students in a wide range of disciplines including leadership development, event planning, risk management and pastoral care, allowing them to make the most of their residential experience. Furthermore, liaising between residence business managers and students, NAAUC provides consultancy services to residences across Australia.
Our training and services cover all areas of modern residential communities, whilst challenging members to question perceived traditions and values, to make the most of their experience on residence and strive to maintain positive, safe communities for future residents. We aim to provide the services and inspiration through which young leaders can build the confidence and skills they need to bring about these meaningful outcomes for their individual residential community.
