Once again, we look forward to hearing from guest speakers and from an array of industry professionals allowing delegates to hear from both leading professionals and student experiences.
The Heads and Residential Coordinators (HRC) Conference is a unique opportunity for staff to hear student leaders from across the country discuss the most pertinent issues facing young people today. Delegates of the conference have opportunities to network with peers, see their students in action, and learn more about best practice in colleges.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Monday the 1st December marks the beginning of the NAAUC HRC Conference, kicking off with arrivals and registration before diving into our annual opening lecture. Delegates will then join engaging student sessions and hear from past leaders in the NAAUC Alumni Panel, gaining valuable perspectives and advice. The evening flows into pre-dinner drinks, followed by the Opening Dinner in the beautiful Women’s dining hall and post-dinner socials - the perfect opportunity to reconnect and celebrate the year that has just been and the year to come.

Tuesday the 2nd December is a full day of student engagement and all about the National Code. Heads of Residences will take part in a series of student sessions throughout the day. A highlight of the program is the ‘All Things Code’ session featuring a National Code guest speaker, offering valuable insights into best practice and compliance. After an afternoon of further student-led discussions and some personal time, the evening culminates in the much-anticipated Progressive Dinner, a staple event of the conference to bring everyone together whilst enjoying the food and scenes of St Lucia.

Wednesday the 3rd December marks the final day of the NAAUC HRC Conference, presenting thought provoking HRC designed sessions. Delegates will hear insightful HRC guest speaker presentations before joining the UCA x APSAA x NAAUC Forum for an engaging cross-sector discussion. After lunch, the program continues with interactive student sessions, followed by afternoon tea and college road tours to showcase campus life. The day concludes with a closing session of the HRC Conference, and for those wishing to celebrate, an optional final night activity rounds off the experience.
