Jed is this years Conference Director, and previously worked as the Treasurer for NAAUC in 2025. Studying at Emmanuel College from 2022-2024 Jed took the roles of Diversity and Inclusion Officer (2023) and the Emmanuel College Students’ Club Secretary (2024). He is very passionate about social based fundraising and event planning especially around fitness and improving yourself not only physically but mentally. As Conference Director, Jed will organize, plan and lead the team in creating a conference of the highest standard for our members. He is passionate about making sure the conference caters to all leaders with different perspectives and backgrounds, and importantly a conference that looks after the student leaders who are coming off a massive year. Jed’s main goal for his 2026 National Conference is to ensure his team and the delegates are physically and mentally looked after so that the best learning and socializing can occur.
The Conference Director is responsible for overseeing the planning and creation of our week long NAAUC National Conference, and tasked with delivering a high quality event. This involves many different tasks, but largely focuses on the organisation of the logistical elements of the National Conference, the development and execution of the social program in conjunction with several different NAAUC team members, liaison with the Host Residence, and the selection and organisation of National Conference guest speakers.
