Emily is a third year resident at Duchesne College within the University of Queensland, currently serving as cultural convenor on the student club executive team. This is Emily’s first year on the NAAUC team. Throughout her time at college, she has coordinated many cultural, service, social and sustainability initiatives, helping students to get the most out of residential life.

Emily is passionate about creating welcoming and connected residential communities, with special interests in student wellbeing, community building, and fostering belonging and personal growth through residential life. She is honoured and grateful to be on the NAAUC working party, and hopes to inspire leaders to create inclusive environments where all students feel supported, and can thrive.

NAAUC’s Working Party is responsible for assisting in the execution of NAAUC’s critical programs, namely National Conference, and the Academic Program. The Working Party is also tasked with assisting the NAAUC to complete growth projects and deliver offerings where required and where possible. Under the leadership of the Vice President (Development), the Working Party will work collectively on new initiatives. The Working Party will consist of a series of Portfolio Officers, and some General Officers.
