NAAUC STAFF CONFERENCE

30th of November to 2nd of December, 2026

University College at the University of Melbourne, Victoria

The Staff Conference (S.Con) is a unique opportunity for staff to hear students from across the country discuss the most pertinent issues facing young people today.

Delegates of the conference have opportunities to network with industry peers, professionals and see the next generation of leaders in action.

With over 60 years of experience, NAAUC’s professional and approachable nature ensures the delivery of our content is of a high industry standard. Once again, we look forward to welcoming all staff to our National Conference.

In 2026, NAAUC is taking the next step in the evolution of its staff conference, transitioning from the Heads and Residential Coordinators Conference (HRC Conference) to S.Con – the NAAUC Staff Conference. More than a new name, S.Con reflects a broader vision for supporting professionals across the university residential community sector.

While Heads, Deputies and senior residential leaders will remain an important part of the conference, S.Con will now welcome staff from areas including Admissions, Marketing and Communications, Advancement and Alumni, Student Experience, Wellbeing, Operations and Academic Support.  Through a dual-delivery model, delegates will have access to NAAUC’s academic workshops and seminars, alongside expanded staff-led professional development, sector insights and peer-to-peer learning.
