Kiona Fry

Kiona is the NAAUC president for 2026. Coming off a year on the Working Party in the Digital Media portfolio she is excited to bring the same drive, attention to detail and action-focused work ethic to her presidency. Kiona lived and worked at University Hall at the University of Western Australia for 3 years as a Residential Advisor in floor pastoral care and running the music portfolio. Outside music and the residential sector Kiona is passionate about LBTQIA+ issues, neurodiversity and accessibility in engineering. During her tenure, Kiona aims to continue to emphasise NAAUC’s pillars of growth, connection and leadership among residences, advancing the sector to prioritise safety and acceptance of all students. Through constant and direct engagement, and a clearly refined mission and vision within NAAUC, she hopes the team and all our engaged residences will feel supported and empowered
