As the official opening the National Conference, the Opening Dinner holds a special place in the conference schedule. Delegates and guests will be invited to dine in the gorgeous Women’s College Dining Hall, hear from our guest speakers and the NAAUC Team, and have the opportunity to network with their peers from across the country.

Hannah Ferguson

Keynote Speaker

Our keynote speaker for NAAUC’s 55th National Conference Opening Dinner is Hannah Ferguson. Hannah is the co-founder and CEO of Cheek Media Co, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree. She is driving change in Australian media by encouraging people to be informed and engaged rather than disinterested and detached.

Hannah is also the co-host of the podcast Big Small Talk and the bestselling author of Bite Back (2023) and Taboo (2024). Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Crikey and more. 

We are delighted to welcome Hannah to our opening dinner as a keynote speaker!
