Working Party Member

Codie Haycraft

Originally from Canberra, Codie moved to Brisbane to commence her University and collegiate career. Studying Strategic Communications and Sociology, rooted in her advocacy for social justice, community development and the arts, Codie’s journey has been marked by deep commitment to fostering connections within the residential college community and beyond. Codie started her College leadership journey in 2022 with both Resident Mentor and Senior Student positions since, her focus throughout her roles has always been connection with people, place and things. As an enthusiastic collegian, her focus on culture, well-being, and promotion has sharpened her dedication to creating real impact through collaboration and communication. Enthusiastic about continuous learning and personal growth for herself and others, she is always seeking opportunities to work alongside leaders and organisations devoted to meaningful change. She sees communication as more than a tool, but a vehicle for amplifying voices, catalysing progress, and fostering understanding for stronger communities which she looks to bring to NAAUC in 2024.
